Hi all,
Well I've just tried to run the firmware going by the suggested methodology from Samsung.
After the phone is verified it begins by rebooting the phone, but then the software loses connectivity with the Omnia and the firmware update software crashes.
Anyone else having this issue?
Here's what I get (using Vista)

Hi, thanks for the advise.
I've tried WMP_RMVB_PLUGINS. But it doesn't really work for me...
The instruction says to copy all the files in the zipped file into the windows folder in the device, but we can't access the windows folder from our PC right? more over, .dll files cannot be seen in the device, therefore its impossible to transfer it into another folder 1st then use the device itself to transfer the files to the windows folder... i can't work with it.. can you advise?
Additionally, it can only open .rmvb file right? what abt .rm files? any idea?
