Maybe you can try charging it first? Can you see the red led on the power button?
Or can just disconnect your battery for sometime or leave it till tomorrow and try connecting it back and power on? I guess right now you can only be patience as you cannot really do anything right now. I guess the worst scenario is to visit the Service Center but most likely will be a cook motherboard.... :sleep:

its not a cooked motherboard lah...what Samsung will do is to put it to bootloader mode and then connect it to their PC and run the flash file...but the problem now is no one actually know how to put the Omnia to bootloader mode...

well.. the FAQ states that the ROM is exactly the same as in the service center....
this is their first time putting the firmware online so hope that they did not fumble this up.... :sleep:

Finished download ing and charging my phone. But when I run the update, it verifies image ok, reset phone to start update.

After that it says PDA-Ready for download, and stays in that state with no change.

Well...

I used my other PC to update my Omnia. Vista had hassles. WinXP Went through 5 files and rebooted the phone without a hitch.

I'll say WOW now!

I'm having to reconfigure everything after the update - BUT even setting the time is now impressive! Double-click on the time widget on the Today page and you'll see what I mean...

Enjoy folks - You'll fall in love with being an Omnian all over again!!

efjay? on your F8 you have power savings? where what menu?

I'LL TELL YOU WHAT EVERYONE IF YOU HAVE VISTA dont try it.

I even noticed with my DSL MODEM when flashing, after going through the initial reboot, it wont wakeup the pc to recongnize it.

Vista might be the issue at hand.
