Thats what I mean, not sure if Samsung have moved this or implemented something else but that seems like powersaving to me.

SUCCESS!!!!

Upgraded from F1 to G4!!! :whistle:

Everything the same as Kings but only thing is that it will auto reboot after the whole process. I do not need to press the power button to turn it on.

Things I observed:

- Overall Speed Faster
- Hactic Feedback Lesser, only launching something will have feedback
- Samsung Today 1 Plugin
- Smart Reader
- Some icons are changed (like when charging, Calculator)
- Orientation are better in G4
- Changes to Calculator Skin
- More Video Settings
- New Input like Samsung Panel and 点讯输入
- End Key Function to lock Device
- No change in Memory

Updated last night, success.

I did not know what was new, but reading this thread gave me some clues. The Biz Card reader is cool! I missed it when I sold me SE P990i.

Also, a word of caution to take the warnings about closing other apps, ensuring enough battery charge etc. seriously.

The smart reader though not very accurate but it pretty cool.
It auto detect the edge of the name card and do auto focus and then snap automatically as well. You do not need to click or press any button.

Have successfully updated as well, only problem was SPB Pocket Plus's Safe mode option seemed to interfere with the first reboot, instead of going into the flashing process the phone booted normally. After disabling that the upgrade went ok. Maybe its more to do with startup drivers in general running during the upgrade rather than SPB's program in particular.

One other thing, the upgrade left my onboard storage intact but may still be a good idea to backup.

Should I upgrade the firmware on my own, or bring it to the Service Center? I figure if I screw it up, I will need to go down to the Service Center to get it fixed anyway. :grin:
