GPRS connection causes omnia to heat up plus charging too so if not wrong when device gets too hot it will not charge showing the led green in color need to soft reset

30000 - 10% = 3000

or you could do this 30000 x 0.10 = 3000

the omnia is giving the wrong number of 299.9

hello, like many of us who had done the firmware upgrade, i have a few problems as below:-

1) biggest headache now is that most of my sms are delayed from 30mins to as long as 2 hours, both receiving & sending. got loads of complaints from friends on why i didn't reply! :confused: anyone experiencing this too? fyi, i'm with starhub.

2) how do i listen to live streaming, like starhub olympics or football channel, with my bt earpiece? the thing is even when i'm connected with my earpiece, the sound is out from the phone speaker instead unlike the n95 8gb, which i understand, is able to transmit the sound via bt. this way, one can have his privacy as well as not disturbing others around/near him with the broadcast.

3) how to disable the call lock feature everytime you make/on a call? i find this feature quite irritating & not very user friendly especially when you need to key-in multiple options like phone banking, starhub 1633 or calling for a cab & the phone keeps locking up.

appreciate if any member can help or advise me with the solutions.

Can help to do a test if the BLACK screen problem still exist after upgrade to H1 ROM?

Everynight, I let my i900 switch on and charge it using the power adapter. However, after 1 night charge, I found the phone screen became BLACK, that is cannot see anything on the screen when you touch on it but I can still use the hard button since I heard the click sound of them.

The only way to resolve it is resetting the phone or power on/off it. It was happened since upgrade to G4 ROM.

1. Finger scrolling in the native Program and Settings.
2. Extra pages in Main Menu.
3. Scrolling button floating in Main Menu, make it easier to browse through the Program in Main Menu
4. Integrated Clock
So, my lesson learnt is, next time before going to service centre, make sure you bring a hard proof from ppcsg  :smartass:

I will post the screen shot later.

P/S: can we have a dedicated thread on Samsung OMNIA ROM updates. So we can share about new ROM releases much easier.

I agree with that and understand. However I told the Samsung SCentre beforehand that the phone came from Singapore (as it isn't released here in Australia). They could've saved me time and $ by saying send it straight back to Singapore.

It's there now - no gripes. Just missing the $1000 phone I haven't had for a couple weeks now. :cry:

wow looks good. I didn't recall there's animation setting when it was first launched. is it something new introduced in this new ROM?
