Just hold the CALL and END key firmly. Press the soft reset button and hold for 1 sec. Let go the reset button. Keep holding the CALL and END key until u see the 'Format' message.

I tested all the ways mentioned by others and this is the exact way for hard reset for PDAs. My Dopod, Touch and now Omnia. All have the same hard reset method.

This is how it actually works. People keep trying there luck by pressing buttons. This is the right combination.

I have the same problem. but this happened only after the first charge when i got it back from the service center. Now it is alright. I think this is because of the Today Timeout set in the Today option. I had set it to 4 hrs (default). My alarm wouldn't ring in the morning and the first charge gave me this problem. Now i still charge it overnight and everything is fine.

1) it must be your service provider. this is no other way that your sms can be delayed unless the provider. Anyways, I think the service providers here suck. All of them. U dont get a reception unground which is barely 20m? In India, the trains are underground upto 50m and u still get excellent reception. I was using the same Omnia but an Airtel card. Singapore so advanced but in sucha small country still u dont get reception. In east coast near the Big Splash, I get Indonesia Teleco?? :S and some times no reception. God d***, it is open space. (sorry, this is my frustrations)

2) No this wont work as there is no A2DP feature in Omnia. A2DP allows u to listen music over BT. I know it is sad. I used to stream music from my Touch to my Sony system via bluetooth. Omnia doesnt support. Only voice calls.

However, you can try A2DP using Battery Status, it doesnt activate for Omnia. (this is just for you to be convinced)

3) Change the settings from Start>Settings>Power>Calling Tab (disable or change timing) I find it irritating and useful at the same time. Oh well.

My suggestion to all Omnians, Try the HTC Diamond Qwearty keyboard. Much better and faster than Samsung Default. Fits and looks perfect for Omnia.

Attached for you. Only install on Device memory. On reset it just goes to defualt samsung. But change it once until next reset. you can select when typing.

Can you post screenshots showing the HTC Touch Diamond keyboard on your OMNIA? I am skeptic since the omnia resolution is different from Diamond.
