This thread is a compilation of tweaks used to improve the performance of Pocket PCs. Some of these tweaks can be found in apps like MemMaid, Tweaks2k2 and Advanced Config Tool. But if you feel like getting your hands dirty and use just a plain registry editor, this thread will come in very handy.

For HTC devices with HTC Task Manager, there may be some default settings that are really annoying, especially on Touch Diamond and Touch Pro.
Registry Path: HKCU\Software\HTC\Task Manager
Value Name: EnableAutoKill
Remarks: Set to "0" to disable auto closing of apps
Registry Path: HKCU\Software\HTC\Task Manager
Value Name: MemoryThreshold
Remarks: Change the data to a smaller value, e.g. "3355432" in decimal.

Thanks for starting the thread Vicott,
Here's mine on TyTN II
To increase the TouchPanel Sensitivity (Do not decrease the default value! You'll potentially end up with an unresponsive screen)
Registry Path: HKLM\Drivers\TouchPanel
Value Name: PressureThreshold
Remarks: Double the default decimal value "400" to "800"
Registry Path: HKLM\Software\OEM\TFLOSettings
Value Name: FingerPressure
Remarks: Double the default decimal value "71" to "142"
You can experiment increasing this value to tripe or quadruple (or any custom value) until you feel that you've achieved your desired touchscreen response. This varies however due to the different quality of screen protectors applied to your touch panel.
