Thanks a trillion!

I've logged on to the ZTA4 and tried downloading the Chinese software from the site that ppcsg user Starch suggested. I uninstalled CE-Star...

At first all chinese characters disappeared. Later, I all smses in Chinese appeared again BUT there was no keypad/keyboard or icon for me to write in Chinese :brooding: and even at "Programs", I kept checking but see no Sunglobe or ZTA4 icon appearing... There also weren't screenshots shown on Starch's thread (the one you inserted for us to refer to).

So I couldn't send smses to China & Taiwan since this morning... :cry:

I wanted to directly download from ZTA4 but 1) didn't see any HTC Touch models included and 2) Is HD VGA? My device says its a WVGA. The website has software for VGA and QVGA only...

Sorry for so much trouble from a newbie... Thanks for helping so many of us always.

Erm Rivaldo,

Refering to my previous post a few minutes ago, I wonder if I've made myself clear.

What I meant was: after downloading the Sunglobe Chinese software from the link (Starch's thread) you gave me, I couldn't sms in Chinese because there was nothing to choose from since I uninstalled CE-Star. So there was only Eng input, keyboard, keypad, transcriber.... the usual one, anything but a keyboard in Chinese for me to write.

So, there weren't any screenshots of ZTA4 when I tried searching at the sms program mode.

Sorry if I sounded long winded...

@ Eschaton,

You need both Sunglobe file and the ZTA4 file from the website too.

Our HD is VGA screen.

Install the ZTA4 first, then Sunglobe.

Give it a try, and come back here if you still have any problems.

8. you should see the ZTA4 SIP when you launch your SIP and when you click on Start, Programs, you should see ZTA4Mgr (Active)...

Hi, sorry to ask, when i installed CE onto the touch HD, I find that the calender headings all turn into chinese. How do i turn that off so that i only need chinese in sms only :unsure:

Change your regional setting back to English.
