Is it me or is it a bug in omnia 2?

When i am talking with another person and someone calls me, there is no music no vibration no sound to inform me about the call waiting, it only have light in background ( Normally the phone will ring and prompt you that someone is calling you ). I think it is a bug......
Can someone confirm with me?

is there even an sms chat in OMNIA2?

Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Motion UI - this only works in internet and picture browsing. What shd I do to make it auto rotate for every other applications Just like OMNIA 1?

Tried the motion sensor bt unsuccessful...

Omnia II have take out the all application rotote function. Only several application have auto - rotate function. even manual rotate function have been disabled.

I once thought that to shoot Macro the camera needs to be as close as possible. However the Canon Digital Ixus manual stated that the camera has an minimum distance to do so for optimum shots.

Maybe you want to try again with your Omnia II, testing with longer distance.

i saw an earlier post complaining abt corrupted calendar. indeed! after i successfully sync the calendar with my exchange server, the notes part of the calendar entry is corrupted!

it only support text version now without any formatting.

once you have any html formatting, rubbish will show.

i then tried to create a calendar entry using the phone and it appeared ok at the notes.

also, the email reader does not break the line properly. makes it very difficult to read.

the business functions is not as good as the original wm6.1 interface.

guess samsung didn't do a good job wrapping the wm6.1 interface.

hope they'll do better in thenext rom.

other than the dissapointin business functions, this phone is great like what a lot of memebers here have mentioned.

no wonder samsung didn't list this as a business phone on their website.

Would like to confirm that the following method generates a HARD-RESET.

Thanks to this post (Omnia2 Hard Reset)

1. Turn OFF Omnia2
2. Press VolumeUp and Lock buttons (do not release)
3. Press Call/Green and then HangUp/Red (do not release all buttons)
4. Phone should Vibrate and turn on.
5. Count to 3 and release all buttons

You will have a choice to FORMAT or CANCEL the operation.
Great method, no need for a 3rd hand to press the soft-reset button.
