You can use htc Touch Pro ( the older model swith 2.8" screen) NOT the newer model Touch Pro 2 ; you'd need to install BlackBerryConnect ver 4.0.0.106 on your pda ; after install just run the software and you'll be guided accordinglty to setup your pda for BB service. Just google this software is FOC. I have used it before about 2 years back but I do not know whether it is possible with Singtel ; I was on Malaysia Maxis BIS service then

htc HD : Apparently can be done ; any users of HD in Singapore can verify this ?? According to chaps at forum.xda those who tried on HD reported inconsistent results. However it definately works very well on the Touch Pro

OK...my next question is "Can my company put in any security measures so as not be able to connect to Exchange Server?"
Im asking this because Iam going to buy HTC Touch HD and Maxmobile Premium (data plan); and want to make sure things work before I buy them

I have both htc HD and TP2. Only the newer TP2 has the software ( visible when you want to setup email account ) connect to Exchange Server but not in htc HD ( at least is not visible ). Perhaps you should write to htc to clarify or loan a unit from any friend to test first

it's not a straight forward thing to connect to exchange server because there's a few consideration you need to consider
1. exchange server is accessible via http and internet. Usually admin will either set OWA (outlook web access) and also use that as the mean for mobile device like winmo phones to connect to exchange. Some other companies (like mine) adopted a separate reverse-proxy infrastructure, separate from OWA, so that your device can connect to exchange server.
2. your admin must enable your account to support pushmail. So even if #1 is cleared, you must know that pushmail is configurable at the user account level. What it meant is even if your company support exchange pushmail, they can choose to do that only for certain group of users. So you need to check with your admin if your exchange a/c has pushmail turned on, or they could do this w/o going against the policy.
but once all these are done, the setup is very straightforward on the winmo side.

The software is builtin in the new email software found on the TP2. Infact the email software is exactly same as the htc HD with ONLY this additional feature that is obvious when you setup a email account
