HTC has listened to the pleas of HD2 owners and promptly delivered another SMS function update to tackle the infamous "SMS stuck in Outbox" issue found in their flagship device. After installing this update, there should be no more complaints about the SMS functionality anymore. HD2 owners please feedback after installing this update.

Do you guys think that we should uninstall the earlier patch first so as to save some storage space? Or do we need these 2 patches to co-exist before the SMS problem can be resolved?

I'd think tt this alone will be sufficient, else HTC will indicate. Also, it doesn't make sense for them not to include earlier patch (whatever is useful) in this one. I'm contemplating installing this cos no SMS problem so far. Neither did I install the earlier patch.. but I do have problem with activating the text input box when replying SMS.. anyone experience tt too? Wonder the patch will remove this.. hmm..

Guess you're right Just saw on their website that the earlier SMS patch (LEO07567-05) was removed. Only saw this new one (LEO08007).

Not sure whether it's just me or what but I seem to find that the font size for SMS gets smaller then before the patch.

Anyone notice it?

Yes : smaller fonts

the other difference is there's count of total message for each conversation thread in the 'all messages' view. don't recall seeing that prior to the fix.
