Have created a widget to check available parking in Marina Centre, Orchard and HarbourFront at the request of a fellow forumer.

Result looks like crap as onemotoring is returning an image and for the huge version im just enlarging it. Image below shows the difference.

FreeParkingLots is a proxy service for onemotoring "Real-time Parking Lots Availability" service. All information on lot availability is provided by http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/

Install Instruction

• Copy the .widget file to your phone after extracting -> Use WinRAR
  
• Install it using File Manager like when your installing a .cab file

Other Install Instruction (Samsung OMNIA II users should be able to install the .widget file directly)

• Install total commander or other file manager.
  
• Browse to the location where the .wgt file is using the file manager
  
• Use the "Open With" option and choose Windowswmwidgetinstaller.exe
  
• Widget should begin installing

Other i.e. cooked rom without Widget Engine

• Download and install enable_widgets_wm6.5.cab (Download), which will updates your phone with registry settings for widgets.
  
• Try installing the wgt file now.
  
• If it does not work, try the Samsung Method.

If the file "Windowswmwidgetinstaller.exe" exists does not exist,

• You do not have the Widget Engine installed in your rom. You should find a rom with the whole package or try add_widget_engine_v2.cab (Download). This will install all the required files and registry entries
  
• Soft reset and try to install a widget
  
• It should now work

i heard that iphone had a similar software and it was request to remove due to one motoring own the rights somethings. i hope yours is okay

I believe that the iphone app is parsing the image and displaying it in their app.

What my widget does is just take the exact same image that is provided and displaying it in the phone without modifying it in any way.

Glad to be helping the Singapore WinMo community. I have always envied iPhone users with its huge developer base in Singapore. They have all kind of Singapore centric app to choose from unlike us WinMo users.

many iphone apps, but very few useful ones...
