This thread is created to share new themes that have been created. This thread has mainly Standard PPC2002 Themes, Standard WM2003 Themes, VGA themes(with landscape support), QVGA Extended Themes (with landscape support), VGA Extended Themes(with landscape support) and also WisBar Advanced Skins. If you have your own creations to share, you are also welcomed to post them in this thread.

Do you how to create some theme which uses colours that are so well saturated like the default theme in ppc2003 entitled " Spiral" ?

This is one by far the best wallpaper that I like due to its colour density and high contrast. Well, if you have the time... that is. Thanks again. :wink:

i think that the color density & high contrast of the default themes are most likely due to the fact that those themes are specially designed for 65k color screen. this can be done by using certain theme making softwares, which are not free all the while, i have only been using Microsoft's free Theme Generator, which does not have this feature.

hhmmm....Just counted how many themes i had created & uploaded to pocketpcthemes since 2002. surprised that it is quite a big number at 381 as of today but most of my old themes are pretty ugly or messy

wow...380+ themes? I hope they are paying you since you are acting like their perm staff!
unfortunately, MS's theme generator only run on windows 2000 and above...does TKCreater work on win98? where can we download it?

TKCreater is only for ppc OS, so u can expect that the features are quite limited compared to desktop counterparts. it is available at pocketgear as freeware. just search for Funnysnake will do.

oh...so this program runs ON a PPC rather than on the desktop...cool...more convenient! Thanks for the tip.
BTW, is there a utility to preview themes on a ppc without having to enable it one by one?

I have tried many Theme Managers for ppc. majority(in fact almost all) only allow previewing of the background pic for the today screen & start menu. only BVRP's Theme Manager allows real previewing of the theme. another silly method of real previewing of theme is to use FunnySnake's TKCreater btw, BVRP's Theme Manager come with the theme editor for desktop as well! do note that previewing of themes using BVRP takes up quite a bit of storage space, cos the way it works is as if it is changing themes automatically & taking screenshots together.
