I have succesfully tried the following shortcuts under wm5 (dopod 818pro - using clauncher):
- Today
- Screen
- Sounds & Notifications
- Remove Programs
No icons displayed though (have used the shortcuts compiled by vicott).
i guess the icon index in cplmain.cpl are different in wm5.
Actually, there are several ways to find out the index for the icons. You can try this simple freeware for obtaining the icon index for EXE/DLL/CPL files.

Hhmm...I think the icon index don't work the "normal" way then. I'm not too familiar with that already. However, the icon display on today plug-ins like cLaunch, Pocket Plus, etc, can be changed though.

Right. I just wanted to use the same system icons.
Is it packaged somewhere?
Any set of nice alternative icons?
thanks
BTW, did u use the steps to create shortcuts in the first post, or did u use the shortcuts in the ZIP file I provided in the 2nd post?
I used the shortcuts u provided in the zip file. These shortcuts already contain the icon pointer (?cplmain.cpl,-XXX) but doesn't work.
Also tried to manually map the icon in cLaunch, providing the cpl name and the icon handle number, to no avail.

If you change the icons in cLaunch, you should not be using back the same CPL file for the icons. You should try some other EXE/DLL files instead. Maybe you can try these DLL files.
