Have been using it for 2 days, upgraded from hp6300, which I liked.
With hw6500 now, it is even better for me. I like its size and dimension. It is just right, neither too big nor too small, feel good in your palm like holding blackberry. Probably the squarish screen is to make way for that form factor.
Keypad reacts good and accurate. I actually like the keypad very much, very handy for messaging. One hand operation is nearly possible, though not there yet. keypad is lay out ergonomically. Like Treo, can use one hand to input quickly and accurately (my experience with XDA2s was that it is hard to operate the keypad using one hand. With hw6500, it is easy).
I also like its integrated profile functionality. Press and hold the power button it drops down a menu for phone profile selection, keys lock, display off, backlight off, and so on. Very neat and handy. No need a 3rd party utility that may not fit well with the OS.
I install most applications into a mini-SD, so with ample main memory it is usually very responsive, though some time it responds laggardly like all other Pocket PC phones I have used beforehand.
The integrated GPS function and Mapking 3D map is fun. Aiding by a Quick GPS connection software, getting a GPS fix is really quick. Quite useful when trying to locate some nearby roads or buildings while walking or driving, or just for the fun part of it. It should prove useful when visiting a foreign land with the right map.
Battery life is good. Did not do any scientific test, but adequate for my use.
My verdict: The specs may not look very good (not the highest CPU speed, low main memory, lower resolution of 240x240, no Wi-Fi, and so on). However, I like the following things about it: Good form factor, feel smooth and feel right in my palm and pocket, responsive and ergonimic keypad for one hand fast messaging, integrated clear screen cover, can do without a case for me. No regret!

Bro usermail,
Thats what I heard too.
Still, that could be bcos hw6515 werent even launched yet at the time of those Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade news.
Regardless, Bro zenkinz got a strong point about one thing: chance of Windows Mobile 5.0 upgrade for hw6515 is higher than for O2 devices .
