Baggy Screen on New Dell Axim X50v

Baggy Screen on New Dell Axim X50v Anyone experience this??

I just receive my Dell Axim X50v today and i realise that the screen is baggy.

As in, there is a thin gap between the LCD and the LCD surface. Like as though there's a loose screen protector on the LCD surface, but it's not a screen protector. The "baggy" area only applies to the lower left-hand side of the LCD screen.

This "phenomenon" was reported on Aximsite forum and ppcsg forum some months back.

Do i qualify for an exchange of a defect unit? If so, how long will the new replacement unit arrive?? Wat's the number to call??

I've waited so long for my X50v to come, and now, it's a defective unit... darn sian.

Get an exchange.....most of us don't have such problem...our screen is tight and nice, not baggy at alll..... :cry:

Tough luck for you...I have seen many units of X50v here, they all have lovely tight perfect screens... :cry:

But this is a good PPC, you shld enjoy it later.....

Oh dear.. I've never seen such a screen before. Best to get it replaced.

sickening to have to wait for a replacement after waiting so long for it. :cry:

after the replacement, I wander whether dell will use the replaced unit again and send to other new order customer. nobody knows what? may be the new customer doesn't mind this little problem.
