anyone facing lag in the navigation? i have tried install onto main memory & still the same. I have used BT GPS with xda2 previoulsy & it runs smoothly (close to real time). but for 6515, the "smoothness" is not there. any comments??

My 6515 takes an extremely long time to get a 'fix' at start-up as well.
In fact, I've tried the GPS about 5 times now and gave up on 4 times coz it was taking forever to find my present location.
Open skies too. :/

Same case yesterday. End up I read the map and told the taxi driver.

I had used the Quick GPS software (when my cradle was still functioning and I could still sync) less than a day before I tried my MapKing.
I'm impressed that you managed to get a fix within seconds. Is there anything else you did? I installed the programme in the main memory and the map in my miniSD.

cut off or intermitten are expected, as compared to bluetooth gps reciever ( which gets to sit on the dashboard)
but as for the lag, if you meant, reaching the intersection, then the audio prompt comes..
it's acutally due to the map itself, try downloading the kingmap singapore trial and rename the map ext file to mk7 ( good for 3 days trial)
and try it. u'll be surprised with the improvments of the accuracy
