Been looking around to find a way to output from my iPaq. Found this on eBay

It is a CF VGA out adapter that also support composite video, which will be very good for me to mirror my screen.

Anyone has similar adapter to recommend? US$160+ is a little steep to purchase, plus it is CF (not SD), so, not sure how future proof this will be.

Advise?

Yeah, that SD adapter is all over PDA sites .. but till today, no further details from anyone except to say it is coming.

Don't mind me asking. Whats this for.
I am using an x50v and I got the video cable which I use for presentation. I would presume it will work with video as well. Is this the same thing except that it is through the CF slot

There are some PDAs with original video out, Dell is one such maker and they sell the cable for like S$18 the last I check. However, I am using iPaq 2210 and I am not able to do it except to look for 3rd party adapter, like those via CF or SD.

I think Dell's output is VGA, which is good if you want to project it to a regular LCD screen or projector, however, in my case, I am looking for composite video out, so, it is a little different for me.

I am surprised by that statement, did they ever make it in the first place? I believe Pretec annouced that they are going to launch this adapter a few months back, then gone silent and now say they are not making it ... haha, so, most of the sites were right when they reported the news, saying that this is likely a vapor ware unless they see it shipping.

I believe Pretec have the CF version as their support have the upgrade/download for the Presenter.

Another source is LifeView which they have one call Flyjacket which fits various Ipaq model.

Unfortunately they don't want to sell to anyone outside of US. Tried it a few days ago and also searched eBay, no luck.
