Invisible "unread" text message!

Invisible "unread" text message! Cannot see.. cannot delete..

Dear all..

I'm having a rw6828, and received an SMS this morning (nothing unusual).
But now, my today screen shows "1 new text message" permanently!

I have read every single darn message on the phone, and my footer of my inbox says "235 items, 1 unread".
Every new "real" message will add on to that number. Means 2 new messages will show up as 3, and so on. Now.. how to delete this invisible message??

I tried soft-resetting the phone.. and also Jeyo mobile companion. Cannot find that "message".

Anyone encounter this problem? I possible solution (other than hard-reset) would be greatly appreciated! :smile: Thanks!

darn.. I used the tools>clear text messages function...
that cleared all my messages.. BUT.. the 1 unread is still there!!! That's not logical.

How can there be 1 unread, if I have zero items? GGrrrrr...
I don't wanna do a hard reset...

hi MasK,

need not hard reset your device...what you need to do is to download this small utility HERE and then copy the exe file to your device and then run it from there...

power it off for 20 seconds, then do a soft reset...this will help you out with your problem...
