In that case, TCPMP must be a fantastic program since it supports avi, whereby i600 only supports mpeg4 and wmv...?

For the PHM registry editor, i believe its for pros... must definitely have a certain knowledge to touch the registry..  :grin:

Since mapking is unable to install, is it because i600 doesnt support gps? If so, is there any programs where map viewing is available

Go to Garmin website and download the program .then go to malsingmaps to download the maps. then you can see the maps but not navigate.

Wondering anyone have the same problem as me. I'm now in Germany autoroaming

1) The battery life like crazy. 1 day in the middle of the day just drained. I just charged it the night before. Sometimes can last for the whole day?

2) I set the time zone to +1 for germany and it will set the time accordingly. but everytime i reset the phone. The time zone remains at +1 but the time changes back to sg time.

3) Sometimes I put slient mode, the wake up alarm will sound up but sometimes I put silent mode, the wake up alarm don't sound but just vibrate as it will in silent mode.

Able to connect to Wifi at home, but unable to connect to RSS, Internet using I600. Is there due to setting or ...

I have went to Garmin website, and i cant find any of the program and the maps u are talking about. Do you have the direct url and the name of it?

You were saying that you are using the garmin xt garmin 10x receiver. Are you also using incoporating with the Garmin program you mentioned?

I got the same 'E' icon when I forced the phone to go to GSM 900/1800 in Band Selection. I was told by the Samsung staff that this means the phone is in 2G mode i.e. no 3G speeds.

I am having some problems with MMS on the i600. I received a SMS that tells me that I have received a MMS. At the bottom of the screen, there are 2 options 'Close' and 'Download'. The SMS tells me to choose 'Download' to retrieve the MMS.

After choosing, a 'Connecting' screen appears and a progress bar is moving at the bottom. I can also see the GPRS icon flashing at the signal strength bar at the top right hand corner of the screen.

But after a few seconds, I get a screen saying "Error. Unable to Connect. Please verify your settings and try again".

I previously used a 2G phone and had no problems sending and receiving MMSes. I changed to a new SIM card for this phone and have the default MMS settings inside.

Can anyone please help?

p/s: Apologies if this subject was brought up before and solved. I could not find any posts pertaining to a similar problem.

Hi, I was just wondering any guys faced the problem where the phone is unable to select mp3 as ringtones despite the fact that it has been placed in \storage card\my documents and is able to be played using wmp.
