Hi bro,
I am Guyver in MOST of the forums .... so where did you know me from?
Btw ... you got the HTC Touch Dual already right?
Is is possible to meet for me to take a look?
I've heard mixed review on this device, so would like to take a look at it.

Hi people,
was wondering if dual has any of the following problem
1) after entering no reception zone, will it be able to search back the network?
asking this because my dopod 577w failed to search back the network automatically and i have to search myself.
2)i gave my contacts category, i filter them and after going back to the home page, when i press the short cut key to contact i cant go back to contacts until clear the contacts filter.
3) will i be able to use filter the category of my contacts and then mass send to them ?

I think you activated the lock function. You need to remove the function so that you will not see the problem.
I guess it will be addressed on the next firmware.
It does not bother me since I do not use that function. Hope it does explain your situation.

I encounter a problem with my Touch Dual. I am wondering whther Touch Dual users here have the same problem and appreciate it if anyone could shed some lights on how to solve this problem. Basically, there is an annoying blank message notification in the bottom left corner when I select it the box where the notification info should be pops up but its empty- just an empty white box and the only option I have on it is 'hide'. When I tap on 'hide' the box disappears but it still says 'notification' and I cant seem to get rid of it, I have tried restarting and switching off completely and removing the battery but when I power it back up its still there and it wont go away.
Anybody else getting this or any idea of how to get rid of it?
Thanks.

Yo, I guess you are not the Guyver I know....
Overall, I think my experience on Touch Dual is pretty good. It could be I do not really stress it much and I have only basic requirement on the phone.
- I like the touch pad as I am too used to it.
- So far I only rebooted three times since I last bought the phone.
- Picture Quality is better than Dopod 838pro which is comfortable to me.
- 3.5G works really well and I have no problem with it.
- MSN Messenger also working very well
- My company outlook email also working well.
- Battery life is good for me as it could last me at least for 2 days or more.
The only thing I do not like is the communication of external GPS device. I need to change the COM Port again and again (i.e com5 to com6 and then com6 to com5).. so that I can use Mapking otherwise Mapking cannot initialized correctly.
I believe this is actually not the problem with the phone but WM6 itself. I have no such problem when I am using WM5. Maybe someone can guide me on this if I have configured somewhere wrongly. Thanks!

I just got a Nokia N800 and having been having trouble getting it to do bluetooth tethering to my Touch Dual. The pairing seems go fine. But the N800 just refuses to connect to the internet using my M1 data plan on my touch dual. I understand HTC and WM6 does not hvae BT don't enabled. So I downloaded a BT_DUN file from the howardforums and N800 see my dual as a don't Phone. But still no luck. Any one have a N800 and manage to get it to connect to the internet with a dual or any WM6 phones? Thanks
