i choose to use garmin because... its a release for samsung i780! and easy to configure for slow brain of mine :devlish:

Hi guys,

i just bought this phone last sunday.

so far so good, no significant problems!

only problem is from msn!!! darn it, i've tried everything u all told me to, but it doesn't work. and my com cannot seem to download the Nodata application. sigh.

what else can i do?

Hi Loafer,

Most of the time if you use GPS cold (leave it a few hours, go another place etc) - it will take a few minutes.

XTRA = AGPS --> it downloads information from nearby base stations from your service provider to help the GPS obtain coordinates faster (sometimes in a matter of seconds). That's why GPRS is triggered. It will cost - but I suspect not much...unless you access it like MANY times a day.. :smile:

dont understand i got it working the last time

sians half.. really no time to go down to the svc center anymore
serves me right for being so gian even though the hard reset probl was a turnoff

sory to be negative.. have powered off the phone now.. will try to book up again later w/o sim card, micro sd etc and see if that helps..

But do you really need CE-Star? I also just upgrade the ROM today but I find that there is no need for me to use CE-Star. I can already read Chinese by default.

Then you may want to write to Mobem to check if their CE-Star is usable in 320x320.
