use a registry editor, manually go to the registry and check that GPRS and MMS is disabled...

I just found out one of the reasons why I might missed my calls, besides the speaker volume.

Go to Settings->Phone->Services and check your 'Call Forwarding' settings. My calls were set to forward to voicemail only after 15 seconds. I promptly changed that to maximum 30 seconds.

At least this will accommodate the initial few seconds of soft ringing tone and allow a longer response time for you to pick up your calls.

Hard reset is not required.
Kill all applications, turn on flight mode and then Power Down.

That depends on whether individuals forward calls at all

Check out SPB Phone Suite. WM6 does not have the functions you require. However, it does not support 320x320.

Thanks for the comments on my review.

I havent had a chance to do anything yesterday as I bricked my i780 twice in the same day. Just when I had finished re-installing everything, I bricked it again lol

Even though I could call up the hard reset menu, it didnt work.

I re-flashed it twice. I use the UK rom.

Anyway, I strongly believe that the Windows Live app microsoft released is the culprit. (windows live/hotmail email, MSN, Live Search) . If anyone has used this and can soft reset the device successfully let me know please.

If you have voice mail, the forward call to your voice mail is defaulted to happen when you do not answer the call, whether the individual selected it or not in the first place when he or she gets a new line from a telco.

So by checking your call forwarding settings, you can either deselect that call forwarding to your voice mail or select to forward after a certain timing. The default I found was 15 seconds, which is too short. So I changed that to 30 seconds. Have you actually check yours at all before commenting?

My default is not forwarded to voice mail.
Maybe that is because i have told SingTel right at the signing of the contract to terminate voice mail.

I see. I supposed you are the minority as probably there are majority of users out there who let voice mail be since it is free. So it is good to know that you have only 15 seconds (defaulted in Singtel) before answering your calls and you can change it in the Call Forwarding settings.
