Yeah, I noticed their CS are mostly Filipinos and they go all the way to help. The one who helped me yesterday and today at Plaza Singapura is Evelyn Fribe and she made sure everything is sorted out. Excellent front line customer service but needs a lot of work at back end technical support team. When I was there today, I saw quite a few people whining at the customer service but mostly due to the failure of technical support team that fixed the equipments.

Hi all...

Alwyas nice to have u guys around..... i think i'll keep this phone and sell the other one that i got as a gift...

anywya...was playing with my i780 the other day... and installed zapit..its a software that closes the program instead of just minimizing it.....

problem is... now i installed already and then found that it didn't really work.... so i removed it via add/remove programs....

but the start>program screen still shows the "zapit" icon.....anyway to remove.... i reinstalled and removed it thinkin can remove... but now i got 2 ... :confused: :confused:

Hi adrieltan75,

You might want to try this. Use your file explorer and navigate yourself to device>windows>start menu>programs>

Look for the 2 Zapit shortcut file and delete it from there.

Alternatively, you might want to use this free apps Clear Temp by Vicott to clear your dead shortcuts.

I have a question. Currently, I'm using a 2gb micro SD card. If I were to get a 8gb micro SD card, can I just copy everything over? Or do I need to reinstall all my programs in my phone?

I had the same problem but managed to remove the links using Resco File Explorer.

It's the best pda phone i felt i've ever owned. I've been faithfully following the threads so far because i am so crazy abt this phone (or should i say WAS...) hoping i'll learn more. My wife even complains that i'm spending too much on this phone...but I'm beginning to lose faith.......

1st bought from singtel some weeks ago, ROM was A1. All went well until CEStar was installed, problem was solved with upgraded version. Unlike many, NAVFONE worked well w/o glitches. Not user of MSN nor WIFI, so didn't bother about connection problems which many faced. Was happy for a week after purchase and bought another set for my wife from m1. After 6 days, noticed the screen of her set flickers and lucky got a 1-4-1 exchange from m1.

By this time C1 ROM was out and sent both sets for upgrade at plaza sing. That's when problems started.....

My set (from singtel)
1) Hangs after overnite charging via AC power, needs soft-reset to get it working again
2) Hangs after finishing calls using bluetooth headset from motorola, needs soft-reset
3) Sometimes phone has no sound i.e. no ringing tone, alerts despite incoming calls or SMS or reminders (regardless sound settings checked & set properly)
4) Occasionally during soft-reset, half the screen appeared and hangs again, needs soft-reset again.
5) Occasionally went dead and needs soft-reset especially when kept in my short pocket and when placed in a pouch during golf game (was quite sure no buttons nor keys were depressed as i've always locked the phone). Also i ensured the power button is always faced away from accidental pressing.
6) Hangs when placed on car dashboard especially when temperature slightly warmer (around late morning with moderate sun).
7) Hangs when switching between programs too quickly (either it hangs completely or it comes back to life after waiting for approx 30sec of more, owise must reset)

Her set (from m1)
1) Hangs during activesyn, needs soft-reset
2) Very slow screen reaction...can consider as inactive sometimes
3) reaction time very slow when switching programs

Don't know whether it has been mentioned before, but I discovered today that if you tap and hold on to the Message Button, it will magnify the screen.

Copying across something like the freebie navis will not work if you registered and installed the program using the 1GB card because the id number is tied to the card.
