where did you install it to? I believe you installed it in your storage card...if so, click your File Explorer and navigate to \My Device\Storage Card\Program Files and see if you can see the Garmin folder inside...and see if you can launch the executable from there...

hello rivaldo, yes i did check it under remove programs it was there, and i installed it on device and not memory card. i removed the progralm now(i uninstalled it) because it wasnt responding in anyway, and i went to file explorer and checked every possible thing but i guess i did something wrong while installing. i deleted it now and erased all the left over files it left.

sad to hear that bro...have you tried installing it from the CD then?? did you browse and see what is inside the CD???

yes rivaldo, i actually tried installing from the cd, it had i guess maps, because when it first opens it asks for what countreis i want to install, i chose france and it almost took over 6 hours, i seriously left my phone hooked to pc for 6 hours and then at 90% it gave an error and stopped, i knew there was something wrong, because 6 hours for installing the software and the maps is a bit too much right? thx for your replies

back to the 2577 folder...I saw there is a file in WM folder called QuesetupPPC...can you try running it in your device and see if it installs???

yes rivaldo this QuesetupPPC is actually wat i pressed to install the program i also pressed quesetupSP too, it was also an instalation icon, they both gave me that they need to delete the garmin before and i pressed yes for both and then they both gave the error that it cannot be deleted, but continued installing anyway.

yes sir i did press autorun, but it opens the main page of garmin with three options:
buy garmin, go to evaluation, put serial number
i have it for free for 15 days trial, and then if i want i'll buy it.
anyway this is becoming a bit complicated for a new guy on the scene :grin:
but i dont mind a challenge, i just want to get the best out of my phone. thank you for your fast replies by the way

no worries...we will go through with you till you get it..OK!!! since you want it for a trial, try pressing autorun, and then press GO TO EVALUATION...then let me know where does it lead you to...

when i do that, it tried to connect through the internet "EDGE" but i dont have internet subscription. :confused:
