I finally bought this phone in Jakarta about S$700
not bad after using it a while
the resistive screen not as hard as HTC
but there are disadvantages:
1.battery life
2.camera quality not good, similar to HTC HD
3.side chromy stripe also look like an old style
4.acer software sucks, i decided to disable it -

1. Use a file utility (eg. Resco Explorer) to create a shorcut to Start Menu
Slow method:
2.1 Connect Omnia II to the PC (ActiveSync).
2.2 Open Windows Explorer and browse Mobile Device (to the files)
2.3 Right click the file to create shortcut and move to Start Menu
Awesome! Thankyou bro... -

Since I only use the WinMo SMS client from the OS itself, I may not lose out much staying with 6.1
The down side is I can't use the recently developed local widgets.
You have the same preference like me, I like WinMo default sms client too.
the program name: TMAIL in windows directory.
I wonder how to make a shortcut in program menu?
